Aida de Acosta was one of the first women to fly a powered aircraft solo. Aida de Acosta was born in New Jersey in 1884 on July 28. She is from Cuba. Aida is a Spanish person. The father of Aida de Acosta is Ricardo de Acosta  and her Mom is Micaela Hernandez. Aida de Acosta died at 77 years old in the year of 1962. Another thing about Aida de Acosta she flew the aircraft solo in  Paris in the year of  1903  with her Mom called Micaela Hernandez. The Mom saw the dirigibles. Aida de helped other people learn how to fly powered aircraft so the people can know how to use the powered aircraft. Now the aircraft solo, they are not using it now. They are using airplanes and helicopters  because now  that everybody  is using that, at this moment the aircraft solo nobody is using because the years go by and the planes change. When Aida de Acosta went and powered on the aircraft solo, everybody looked at her and clapped for her because she did a good job powered on the aircraft solo. At that time Aida  de costa was very happy when everybody clapped for her. For Aida de Acosta to  learn how  to fly she has to do 3 lessons.  She died at Aida Acosta in Bedford, New York On May 26 1962.
