 Amelia Earhart

By Jordanys

Did you  know that Amelia Earhart disappeared into the ocean? Amelia Earhart was the first  female pilot in the world! She  was  the first woman pilot  in  the  world. She  flew a plane  across the Atlantic ocean. Amelia worked in a Toronto hospital until World War II. Did she win any  awards? She won  a bronze medal  because she flew a plane across  the  Atlantic ocean. Why does this deserve the Henigan  STEM award? She  also made  a non-stop  transatlantic Flight. She was born on July 24  1897 in Atchison  Kansas. What  was her early life  and  education like? In the summer before eighth grade, Amelia went to another fair, the Iowa state fair where Amelia saw her first airplane. Is important because she loves airplanes and she wants to fly  a plane and in her early life she was thinking about airplanes.
